Always wanted to meet Joe Mad?!?!?

Have you always wanted to meet Mad? Well, the opportunity is at hand!!! Joe Madureira will be at the Wizard World Chicago '99 Comic Convention! The comic convention, which is one of the biggest comic cons of the year, is located in the Rosemont Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. The Rosemonth Center is just outside of Chicago and features the annual Wizard World Chicago comic con. Joe Madureira, along with a bunch of other well-known comic creators, will be at the show during its July 16-18 date.

Comic Book Resources has said that Crimson #9 by Brian Augustyn and Humberto Ramos will arrive in stores a week early, on March 24th. Battle Chasers #5 might be in in the week after, which means that it should arrive in stores March 31st. However, since we can't trust Mad's word, all we can do is sit tight and hope that Battle Chasers #5 will be delivered sometime before the new millenium.

BC Collected Edition #2 Is HERE!!!

BC Collected Edition #2 is finally here. It was originally supposed to come out on March 3. Mad constantly amazes us all- even the reprint collection is late!!! Well, anyway, go get your BC Collected Edition #2 from your local comic store or AnotherUniverse.com. A scan of the BC Collected Edition #2 is coming soon, along with the Mad-covers of Spider-Man: Manga.

They were scheduled to come out the 2nd week of January, and finally they are here!!! They have arrived in comic book stores everywhere, so go get 'em!!! Scans of the two covers will be added soon! Even though Spider-Man: Manga #28 and 29 have come in, BC Collected Edition #2 still hasn't shown up! :( It was supposed to arrive in comic book stores today, March 3! But unfortunately, it hasn't arrived as of today but hopefully it will be coming in in the next couple of weeks. More news as soon as possible about the release date!

Madness Spreads!
Joe Mad has drawn covers to several awesome magazines including Playstation Magazine #13 (PSM) and Wizard #93! Mad and McWeeney have drawn Kain on the cover of PSM #13 and the Madman is doing the JLA cover to Wizard #93, which will be shipping at the end of March. Thanks to DangerGirl Online for providing the excellent cover to PSM #13!
Battle Chasers Deluxe #1! For those starved BC fans who missed the Prelude and issue #1, your time has come! Mad is doing the cover and more sketches in a Battle Chasers Deluxe #1 which will reprint both the hard-to-find Prelude and #1 issues! This 56-pg BC collector's item will be shipping in March under AnotherUniverse. Look for it, BC fans!
Progress of Battle Chasers #5!
A more accurate description of the progress of Battle Chasers #5 has been provided! The team at Liquid are working on finishing the color for BC #5 and are more than half way done. They expect to be finished within a week and expect BC #5 to come out within the next couple of weeks. This would mean that BC #5 should come out either late February or early March. More news to come!

Battle Chasers Release Date!
Don't get your hopes up, but...Battle Chasers #5 might be coming out in the second week of February! It has been rumored that Battle Chasers #5 is right now in the hands of those guys at Liquid! and will be shipping in just one or two short weeks! That means we should have it in our hands by the second week of February. But since the release dates of Battle Chasers isn't very reliable, we can only wait and hope!

Munier Sharrieff has recently stated that, "We will be on schedule. After issue #5 we
will take a break from the shelves. We will complete issue #6 and #7 before we get
back into regular circulation. This way we'll always be at least one issue
ahead." So, if Joe Mad is taking a break after #5 to catch up on future BC
issues, why did #4 arrive so many months late? Well, now we can just wait and hope
that Mad, Sharrieff, and McWeeney keep their word. Here's hoping!

News from WildStorm Productions has it that there will be an expansion of their
Cliffhanger line, by adding a new title to the summer of 1999. More information will
be released soon!
Battle Chasers Collected Edition #2 Source: Previews Battle Chasers Collected Edition #2, which will reprint Battle Chasers #3 and #4, is said to come out on March 3, 1999. Like its predecessor, it will basically contain the issues 3 and 4, as well as all of the many variant covers to those two issues, and new Battle Chasers sketches by Joe Madureira.
