7/22/98 Wolverine’s Claw City v1.0 2/1/99
Wolverine’s Claw City v1.0 has finally reached the end of its illustrious career. As of 2/1/99, v1.0 of Wolverine’s Claw City has been shut down. Only the awards section and main page remain active of the many excellent and informative sections of Wolverine’s Claw City! Thank you for making this site’s time on the Internet a fun and enjoyable experience and for sticking with the site through the good times and the bad. With 4000 visitors and counting, Wolverine’s Claw City definitely made an impact on the World Wide Web, ultimately emerging as the 2nd best Wolverine website for 1998.
The plans are for me to shut down v1.0 of this website, complete my Cries of Battle website, and then open a v2.0 of Wolverine’s Claw City. These events should take around 4-5 months, so check back in 3-4 months and you will be seeing a totally revamped Wolverine’s Claw City increased to maximum slashing ability and ready to tear through the competition again! From the grand opening of the website on July 22, 1998, Wolverine’s Claw City ripped through the competition thanks to help from its mentor site, Wolverine’s Realm, and garnering 7 awards, second place at the Exy Awards for best Wolverine site of 1998, and ending up as the 2nd best Wolverine website for 1998 after Wolverine’s Realm.
Thanks for all the thrills and the chills, the good times and the bad, the pain and the joy in making Wolverine’s Claw City v1.0 to the best of my ability. Thanks for sticking by me and offering your support and this website would not be in the condition it is in right now without my fans and supporters.
